SMOOTH DUCT SEALANT is a specially formulated smooth, water-based duct sealant for indoor and outdoor use. Suitable for pressure sealing all types of HVAC duct systems; including metal, fiberglass, duct board, and flexduct.

Directions:
Use on clean, dry, oil-free surfaces. Apply the product using a brush, palm, or spatula. For a spiral duct, apply sealant at least with a 3” band to the male section and/or a 3” band over the exterior seam of the coupler. For rectangular ducts, apply a 3” band of such sealant on all seams in the rectangle duct. On all ducts, thoroughly cover the joint head and sheet metal screws. Depending on the condition, allow the product to set (approximately 24-72 hours) before pressure testing the system. Cold or humid conditions may extend the time set. Paintable after a 48 hour set time. Film Thickness: 20-30 minutes.

If used as a spray or airborne, a respirator may be needed. Wear safety glasses when using product. Wash hands thoroughly after handling.
