ICE MACHINE CLEANER
Ice Machine Cleaner is a powerful, non-foaming cleaner that is safe for use on stainless steel. It effectively removes limescale buildup from ice-making equipment, increasing ice quality and capacity. This concentrated liquid cleaner can also be used to clean vending machines, soft drink dispensers, coffee urns, and humidifiers, and is made from food-grade materials. Unlike some cleaners, it does not contain chlorine or chlorides and thus does not produce harsh fumes. Directions:
- Start by turning off the ice machine.
- Next, drain water and refill with fresh water.
- Add 4 ounces of Ice Machine Cleaner per 1 gallon of water in the system. More cleaner may be needed if the scale is heavy. Less cleaner may be required if the equipment is cleaned regularly.
- Start water circulating pumps only.
- Then, run 15-30 minutes.
- Apply cleaner to the scaled surface with a brush.
- Then drain the system after the scale is removed.
- Refill the system with clean water.
- Flush system.
- Drain and return the machine to service.
- Discard the first batch of ice.
